Our story
Our journey began in June 2021, during Covid, when Martin (a successful Electrical Engineer background at MD level) and Simon (Global Corporate Travel background with Senior Management experience) decided to set up an
e-bike rental service on the coast in Suffolk. We wanted to put smiles on people's faces and help our clients improve wellness, during a difficult period in everyone's life. Reducing carbon and car usage was a key driver. We enjoy cycling so much, we’re keen to help others try it out and discover the joys of cycling and its health benefits.

Our focus was on ensuring customers had a fabulous day out and in 2022 we started to design and build our own self automated, solar powered e-bike shelters that protect and charge the bikes. Unlike other publicly available e-bikes, our fully automated e-bike shelters are secure, which means clients can rest assured that the e-bikes will be safe and not stolen or left littering the streets!
We started from scratch with a fabricator working with our e-pod designs. Then at the end of 2023, our first prototype EEZYPOD was ready. We are proud to have won the Business Award for Innovation in the 2023 West Suffolk Business Awards. We’ve won other awards too. To make their active travel schemes happen, net zero committed councils, like Mid Suffolk District Council soon became interested and opened a location at Needham Lake, Suffolk.

We are excited to see what the year ahead brings and have received interest from many large, well-known organisations.
