Needham Lake

Needham lake is a large lake and nature reserve with picnic and play facilities on the outskirts of Needham Market, with a surfaced pathway around the lake. The range is a maximum of 50 miles on the bikes, so you can ride off towards Woodbridge and down the river Deben for a fabulous day out – please see routes.

Sudbury
Suffolk - Mid Suffolk District Council
One Charming Town set on the banks of the River Stour, Sudbury is a picturesque market town steeped in history and surrounded by idyllic water meadows that famously inspired artists like John Constable. also the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough, one of Britain’s most celebrated painters.
The pod is situated next to the start of The Valley Trail: Which Winds along a disused railway line. The Trail forms part of the scenic Stour Valley Path. Starting just behind the Kingfisher Leisure Centre, it leads through Sudbury’s peaceful riverside meadows. The route is flat and ideal for cycling.
