EEZYPOD is solar powered, fully automated, secure e-bike shelter with keypad access. The pod protects and charges the bikes allowing easy automated access for riders. The pod contains a keypad. The rider simply books the bike via our website and receives a code which enables the release of the bike. Clear instructions can be found on our website on how to use the e-bike. The e-bike pod is made from weather resistant recyclable steel and is fully secure. Clients can rest assured that the bikes won’t be stolen or dumped around the area, like some other electric bikes on the market.

When the pod is shut - solar is activated. We can limit the time solar is charging too, so bikes don't sap the charge. We have also programmed alerts for clients to let them know if the battery charge has dropped to 30%. This enables clients to rest assured there will always be charge.

Our model working with organisations, such as Mid Suffolk District Council, offers riders subsidized rates, giving riders an affordable rate to rent one of our e-bikes. The bikes in this case are used for a rental charge. We can suggest a certain rate (for example, £15 for a full day), but rates will vary depending on what the client wishes to charge. Clients may wish to bundle charges. A hotel could charge for the bikes and solar charged pod as part of a room package, for example.

All our e-bikes have baskets to hold your belongings/picnic.

The e-bikes can reach 25km per hour maximum. The legal limit in the UK is 15 mph.

The range of the bikes is 50 miles.

Riders need to be 14 or over to use our e-bikes. Teenagers from 14-18 years old can use them but only if accompanied by an adult. Riders will need to be 18 years old or over to hire the bikes by themselves.

Helmets are not provided, and we encourage people to bring their own – if people don’t have their own but wish to borrow a helmet, they can request them directly by emailing askus@eezybike.co.uk.

Contact the emergency number on your booking confirmation, and leave the bike locked where it has broken down.
